Wing span:
Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside with a faint bluish tint from mid to base. Females have a broad central oblique white band on the forewings. The underside of the wings is a slightly lighter shade of brown, with black spots from mid to base. There are black ocelli in the outer postdiscal, apical and submarginal regions on the underside of the hindwings, each with a thick brown outline. The underside of the wings also have a bit of copper-brown colour at the base and along the dorsum of the hindwings.
