Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside with an orange patch at and above the dorsum on the forewings, and orange (yellowish at the costa) from the base to the discal region of the hindwings. The wings are dark brown, with the orange markings on the upperside appearing yellow on the underside, in addition to some additional yellow markings. The forewings have an additional broad yellow subapical band (shaped like a comma) on the underside. The hindwings have two rows of spots on the underside, with the inner yellow row occurring in the outer postdiscal region and the outer white row occurring submarginally. The hindwings are scalloped at the termen.
