Wing span:

Identification: The forewings are dark brown on the upperside with orange costa and a central oblique band from the dorsum up to the subapex (appears y-shaped). The hindwings are dark brown on the upperside with an orange central oblique band starting from the base and extending to the end of the postdiscal area. The wings are orange-brown on the underside. The forewings are dark brown from mid to dorsum and the central oblique band appears light brown on the underside. The cell above the dorsum is dark brown and the veins appear yellowish on the underside of the hindwings. The wings have orange fringe.
